Jeff Webster has been a leading marine journalist and photographer for more than 20 years. During this period he has conducted hundreds of photo shoots for boat tests, brochures, catalogues, and advertisements for all of the major Australian trailerboat manufacturers - including Signature, Cruise Craft, Stessl, Ally Craft, Seafarer, Haines Hunter, Savage, Bermuda, Brooker, and more.
Compared with stand-alone professional photographers (who do nothing else but photography) Jeff's marine photography charges are inexpensive - and you will get a first class job to boot. Don't spend thousands of dollars hiring an expensive photographic company or advertising agency. Jeff will do a better job, and for half the price!
Jeff now specialises in boat photography, and can provide high quality images in high resolution digital format. A typical photo shoot will encompass action jump shots and the like, low light atmosphere photos for brochure covers and advertising, along with running shots and detailed interior flash photos for catalogues, websites, etc.
If your company is interested in engaging Jeff's photographic services, please note there is a minimum fee of $230.00 plus GST. This covers a photo shoot on the Gold Coast's Broadwater (and surrounds) for a period of two hours. For each additional hour (or part thereof) there is an additional charge of $90.00 plus GST. A three hour shoot, for example, would cost $320.00 plus. GST.
The above fees are for photography only - and are applicable only to photography undertaken on the Gold Coast and in Brisbane. They do not include a camera boat or a camera boat driver. You will need to supply a camera boat and a driver to run the boat during the photo shoot. Jeff can take photos while standing on the beach or on a jetty etc., but the job will then take twice as long, and the photographs won’t be “brochure” quality.
Please note that the above charges do not include post processing of digital photos. Generally, this fee will be between $80 - $120 plus GST. The precise amount will be quoted on an individual basis.
As a rough guide, please note that it normally takes about an hour to take a full range of external photos of one boat (running shots, atmosphere shots, on trailer, beach shots, etc). In two hours however, working in a co-ordinated fashion and given good weather conditions and a camera boat, it is usually possible to photograph three boats - and all for just $320 plus GST and post processing.
